From ouR family to yours
Far Blue Travel was born from a shared belief: that the best journeys don’t just take you somewhere - they bring you closer to yourself and the people you love.
We’re a stepmother-and-daughter team, and our family came together later in life. Travel didn’t just shape our lives—it helped shape our family.
Blending a family is never easy, especially when your loved ones are spread across the country (or living on different continents). For us, travel became the thread that wove us together.
Through missed trains, shared toasts, unfamiliar languages, and breathtaking landscapes, we learned how to show up for one another. We found common ground not just in the places we visited, but in the act of discovering them together.
That’s the power of meaningful travel. And it’s the heart of Far Blue.
Rooted in Connection. Backed by Global Experience.
Our founder, Rhonda, brings more than 30 years of international experience living and working abroad. A professional certified business travel specialist and passionate linguist, she’s pursued advanced studies in Greek, French, Russian, Arabic, and Japanese language and culture. She’s spent decades building trusted relationships across the globe - and now she’s sharing that network with you.
From her own family adventures to high-level corporate travel, she’s mastered the art of crafting seamless, soul-filled experiences that are equal parts elegant and enriching.
Why do we do this?
Because we know travel can be more than a vacation.
It can be a bridge - between cultures, generations, and parts of ourselves we’ve forgotten in the rush of everyday life.
Whether you’re planning a multi-generational celebration, a wellness retreat with friends, or a culture-rich adventure that leaves a mark, we’re here to make it effortless, meaningful, and deeply personal.
You believe your travel should be something more. We agree. Don’t settle for an ordinary experience.
We plan, you travel
